Vendo is a 24/7 self-service convenience store in central Zagreb. It used to be called Munchies 00–24. Names change — the mission stays the same.
The story
It started with a simple question: why is it so hard to buy coffee in Zagreb on a Sunday at 3am?
Croatian law limits opening hours for shops, but self-service vending machines run whenever there's electricity. We set up a cluster of machines in a 19 m² space in central Zagreb and opened “Munchies 00–24.” It quickly turned out there was real demand — shift workers, late-night party-goers, travellers with early flights, students.
Munchies was a name for one location. Vendo is a name for a network.
Why the rebrand
Munchies worked well when we were one shop. But the plan is more locations, more cities — and the name needs to carry that. Vendo is short, clear, pronounceable in any language, and clearly evokes vendor / vending. Like it was always there.
What we offer
- Convenience store — coffee, water, drinks, sandwiches, sweets, savouries, energy bars
- Printbox — printing, copying, and scanning of A4 documents
All available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including Sundays and holidays. Pay by card, contactless, or cash.
