Paperwork you still have to print — and where to do it 24/7 in Zagreb

Everything is online, until it isn't. Here's the everyday paperwork people still print, and where to print it at any hour.

We sort most things out on our phones these days. And then someone still wants paper: signed, in two copies, "please bring it with you". For that, Vendo has a self-service Printbox kiosk that runs 24/7.

The most common everyday papers

  • Official certificates and extracts from Croatia's e-Građani system, when someone asks for them on paper.
  • Payment slips with a barcode, for paying at the post office or bank.
  • Rental agreements and handover reports, for landlords and tenants, in two copies.
  • Car sales contracts, usually in several copies.
  • CV and cover letter for a job interview.
  • Medical results, when you want to take them to your doctor on paper.
  • Forms for kindergarten, school and similar enrolments.
  • Copies of documents: ID card, passport, driving licence, when someone asks for a copy.
  • Tickets for events and travel.

In colour, at no extra cost

Printbox prints in top laser quality in colour, at the same price as black-and-white. A notice for your building, a menu or an invitation looks the way it should. More ideas in our article on colour printing.

How

  1. Save the document as a PDF.
  2. Copy it to a USB stick or upload it to your Printbox account online (printbox.net). Printing from USB needs no registration.
  3. Walk up to the Printbox kiosk inside Vendo, pick the document, number of copies and colour.
  4. Pay by card or phone (NFC) and take your prints.

The price per page is shown on the kiosk and at printbox.net. More about the kiosk on the Printbox page.

Why 24/7 helps

Paper is usually needed at the last minute: the evening before a meeting, or on Sunday before Monday. The Printbox at Vendo works then too, with coffee from €0.90 and something to eat next to it.
