How to print a document from your phone in Zagreb: three ways, 24/7
The document is on your phone, the printer isn't. The Printbox at Vendo prints it in a minute, 24/7, with no computer and no USB stick. Here is how.
A concert ticket in your email. A contract that arrived on WhatsApp. A confirmation in an app. It's all on your phone, but you need it on paper, today. No printer, no copy shop open, no computer nearby.
The self-service Printbox kiosk at Vendo, Ulica kneza Višeslava 6, prints straight from your phone. It runs 24/7, every day, including Sundays and public holidays.
What you need
- A Printbox account. Sign up for free online at printbox.net or at the kiosk itself. Your personal PIN arrives in the welcome email.
- The document on your phone, ideally as a PDF. Printbox accepts other file types and converts them to PDF, but a PDF prints exactly as it looks on screen.
Three ways to get the document from your phone to the Printbox
1. The Printbox app
Install the Printbox app (Android or iPhone) and log in. Share the document from any app (email, WhatsApp, browser) straight into Printbox: tap Share, then Printbox. It lands in your print queue right away. The app also shows the nearest kiosks.
2. On the web
Open your account at hr.printbox.net in your phone's browser, choose to add documents and upload the file. No app needed.
3. By email
The fastest way when the document is already in your inbox: forward it as an attachment to [email protected]. If your PIN is e.g. XJS7ID8LP, the address is [email protected]. The whole email can be up to 20 MB.
At the kiosk in Vendo
- On the Printbox kiosk, log in as a registered user.
- Open your print queue and pick the document.
- Optionally choose pages, copies, double-sided and a print preview.
- Pay by card or phone (NFC), or with credits from your account, and take your prints.
If the document is on a USB stick after all, printing from USB needs no account.
What it costs
Printbox charges in credits: 1 credit = 1 A4 page, colour or black-and-white, same price. Double-sided is 2 credits. The credit price depends on how much you top up: according to the Printbox price list in September 2026 a credit is €0.65 for top-ups up to €6, dropping to €0.40, €0.30 and €0.15 for larger top-ups. The current price is always shown on the kiosk.
Tips
- Save as PDF before sending. Most apps have Share or Print → Save as PDF. That keeps page breaks and fonts in place.
- Tickets and boarding passes usually arrive as a PDF by email. Forward it to the Printbox and you're done. More in the guide to printing a boarding pass.
