Some things you don't need often. But when you do, you need them right away: at 2am, on a Sunday, when drugstores are closed, when there's a queue at the till, or when you simply don't want anyone watching what you put on the belt.
What's coming to Vendo
- Condoms. The only form of contraception that also lowers the risk of sexually transmitted infections.
- Sanitary pads. Periods don't check the time, or the drugstore's opening hours.
- Tampons. Same logic, different need.
- Lubricant.
- Pregnancy tests. When uncertainty is keeping you up — anonymous, no conversation, available now.
Why a vending machine, not a pharmacy or drugstore
- 24/7, every day, including Sundays and public holidays. When everywhere else is shut.
- Discreet. No sales clerk who knows you from the neighbourhood. No queue behind you. No "anything else?" question. Pick, pay by card or phone, walk out.
- Anonymous. No ID needed, no loyalty card, no email address. Everything through the machine, no people involved.
- Nearby. By Trg žrtava fašizma, 700 m from Zagreb Main Train Station, 900 m from Zagreb Bus Station. If you're in the centre, you're walking distance.
About pregnancy tests
Late-night uncertainty is not fun for anyone. Buy the test anonymously, take it at home, read the result yourself. Bring anyone with you only if you want to.
Use the test as described on the pack. To confirm the result and get advice on next steps, see a doctor, gynaecologist or your GP. If you need emergency contraception ("morning-after pill"), a pharmacist has to dispense it — for a list of 24-hour pharmacies see the Ministry of Health or call 112 for guidance.
How to pay
By card (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro), Apple Pay, Google Pay or coins from 10 cents up. No receipt anyone can read to see what you bought.
